webcomic
in this world i stand
The idea of making a webcomic came to me just a few years ago. I've been making creatures for a while now, but I couldn't find a way to bring them more to life. An illustration or a clay figure is still static, it gives little information over the characteristics and personality of a creature. Making a webcomic gives me the chance to create a world where I can place all of my creatures in and make them interact with humans and each other.
I'm still working on it, but it's in the beginning phase. I may have underestimated the amount of work it takes to produce a webcomic. You have to make the story, the characters, the backgrounds, the style, the lay-out of the panels etc. I must admit that it's a challenge, but It is an exciting one! I'm still not confident in my own skills at the moment, but I will get there eventually, I just need to practice a lot.

The illustration under here is my latest work regarding my webcomic. I'm slowly improving and I'm actually proud of this one!
Shiki's outfit, basic and full equip. The outfit is a bit more simplistic than before but looks cooler and more iconic. I also couldn't resist adding a plague doctor like mask.
